Why We Serve

At Rooted On Common Ground, our faith calls us to serve others with compassion and purpose. We believe that true growth happens when we step outside of ourselves and use our gifts to make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors. Our commitment to serving our community is how we put our faith into action.

Service Opportunities

Regular Service Projects:

We have ongoing opportunities to serve right in our own neighborhood. Join our team that helps at the local food bank on the third Saturday of every month or our group that visits the local nursing home to share stories and bring a smile to residents.

Annual Outreach Events:

Twice a year, our entire ministry comes together for a community-wide project. Our annual ‘Back to School Drive’ helps provide supplies for local students, and our ‘Winter Coat Drive’ provides warmth for those in need.”

Partner Organizations:

We are proud to partner with local organizations that are doing incredible work in our city. We encourage our members to volunteer with our partners at the City Shelter and with Habitat for Humanity.(You can list them below and the role they play)
